Workplace & Interiors

At the heart of every successful workplace design is a thoughtful and intentional process. Our team take an immersive approach to designing workspaces that promote productivity, collaboration, and well-being.

At the core of workplace design is the understanding that a company's overall  business goals, should influence the workplace design. That's why our approach to interior design is centred around understanding your business's unique needs and how your space can be optimised to support them.

We challenge you to think creatively about how you use your spaces, encouraging you to be intentional and thoughtful about every inch.

Our attention to detail extends beyond just the physical space. We understand that careful use of light, space, and materiality can enhance the sensory experience of a space, taking it from functional to extraordinary.

Our designs foster human connection, promoting interaction and delight for those who use them. By seamlessly weaving together design excellence, culture, and identity, we create spaces that are not only beautiful but also create tangible value for the people who inhabit them.

Our Process

CONSULTATION

Our process begins with a thorough consultation, where we listen to your needs and identify the key objectives of your overall business. It is crucial for us to learn of your wider business goals, as the functional workspace contributes to efficient operations and company culture. We understand that every business is unique, and we work closely with stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of your organisation's goals, culture, and values. Part of this consultative process will include understanding what currently works and what doesn't, as well as noting any wishlist items you desire for the future. Part of this phase will be understand any budget limitations and constraints, as well as project goals (such as obtaining GreenStar). This phase of the project will usually cost 0.25% of the overall project budget.

CONCEPT PRESENTATION & WORKSHOPPING

Next, we develop a concept presentation that materialises your vision of  your space, including design features, materials, and finishes. We use advanced 3D modelling and visualisation tools to bring the concepts to life and help you better envision the final product. From there, we engage in a collaborative design workshop with your team, where we share our expertise and ideas and gather input from your stakeholders. These concept presentations will support a project Quantity Surveyor to price the project, ensuring we are keeping to the overall project budget. This phase of the project will usually cost between 0.5 - 1% of the overall project budget.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once we are aligned on the concept, we move into the design development phase, where we begin to fine-tune the details of the design, refining the floor plan, materials, and finishes.   With further developed design ideas, we will be able to partner with the PQS to accurately price the design, and value engineer the project to ensure we are working within budget constraints. This phase of the project is expected to cost approximately 1.0 - 1.5% of the overall project budget.

TENDER, PROCUREMENT & CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION

With a considered solution in place, we can support the procurement of the main contractor by competitive tender, then liaise, observe and administer your construction contract to project completion. We oversee the construction and installation of your workspace, working closely with contractors and vendors to ensure that the project is completed on time, on budget, and to our high standards of quality.

The New Zealand Head Office for Mastercard Austrasia. A fine combination of New Zealand cultural and the global design guidelines for Mastercard lead to an office that marries feelings of being on the coast, with that of  being in a big city.

We worked with members of the New Zealand Mastercard team, and those from the Sydney office to deliver this calm yet engaging space. This project was awarded with GreenStar 4.
